Overview & History of the Bombardier Challenger 350

The Bombardier Challenger 350 is the second smallest aircraft in Bombardier’s aircraft lineup. The Challenger 350 traces its routes back to the Challenger 300, an aircraft that was announced in 1999. After taking its first flight in 2001, deliveries started at the beginning of 2004.

After a decade of success the Challenger 350 was introduced as the new and improved variant. The upgrades include a more luxurious interior, taller cabin, increased range and efficiency.

The Challenger 300/350 aircraft have over one million hours of operation, boasting a 99.79% dispatch reliability rate.

Bombardier Challenger 350 Performance

The Challenger 350 is capable of carrying up to 10 passengers a range of up to 3,200 Nautical Miles (3,682 Miles / 5,926 KM).

Powered by two rear mounted Honeywell HTF7350 turbofan engines, the Challenger 350 is capable of cruising at 448 Knots at a maximum altitude of 45,000 feet.

The Honeywell engines produce 7,323 lbf of thrust each which gets the aircraft airborne with just 4,835 feet of runway. The Challenger 350 has a minimum landing distance of 2,364 feet.
